Summer House brought us one Bravo’s favorite, drama-free couples ever in Paige Desorbo and Craig Conover. It was a sad moment when they wrote a break-up announcement, but there’s a story there.
Paige Desorbo details timeline of their break-up
Paige Desorbo has finally detailed the events of her break-up from Craig. She said on the Giggly Squad podcast how she dumped him over Thanksgiving weekend, before Craig did press for Southern Charm.
She claimed he acted as if they were still together, which she was cool with. By Christmas, Craig went on a trip and “presented himself as single,” which signalled it was time to announce they’d split.
The Summer House star is now single and “acting single,” but wanted to clear up that she didn’t physically or emotionally cheat on Craig, and doesn’t have a new boyfriend despite rumors.
She warned him before big announcement
Paige claims she text Craig to give him a heads-up that she was about to announce their split, which he didn’t reply to. She also said nobody was blindsided during their break-up, amid speculation.
Craig, on the other hand, has said he felt confused about where he stood in their relationship. He said on Summer House, “I think everyone knows that, like, if it was up to me we would just get engaged.”
He explained, “But she changes her mind a lot about stuff. One day she’ll text me, ‘Let’s build a f***ing farm house in the middle of nowhere.’ Or, you know, ‘I’m moving to Charleston!’”
Paige liked a really shady post
Paige has liked a post on Instagram which says, “I’m bummed to be single. How will I find another guy who brings nothing to table?” Summer House viewers have seen it, and think she’s giving hints.
Despite the shade, she’s been pretty open about how she and Craig still love each other and that he’s the best boyfriend she’s ever had. However, Patricia Altschul has said Paige was “mean” to Craig.
Their co-stars have had a lot to say about their break-up, including Austen Kroll, who claimed she’d moved on during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
