Though Teddi Mellencamp is no longer a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, she’s been hitting the headlines a lot since her reality TV days. Sadly for Teddi, she’s often sharing updates on her cancer battle with the world, as well as stating her truth when it comes to her recent marriage breakdown. Following the news of her melanoma, and later a divorce, Teddi now shares how she’s dealing with brain tumours.
Morgan Wade stops whole concert for Teddi Mellencamp
On February 18, Morgan Wade was delighting her fans with performances of all her latest songs before she opted to cut the singing and ask for people to “pray” for her friend.
Taking to the mic, Morgan said to the crowd: “We’re really blessed to have a bunch of people here with me tonight… If you don’t mind, tonight when you leave here, say a prayer for my good friend Teddi Mellencamp. I went to visit her a little bit ago.”
The clip was shared via Kyle Richards’ Instagram Story this February. Morgan detailed how Teddi would’ve been at the concert but is currently going through terrifying times with her health. The singer explained how Teddi had: “…emergency surgery on her brain to remove some tumours.”
Teddi’s cancer battle is ongoing
This February, Teddi took to Instagram to share some sad news with her followers.
She detailed how she’s currently dealing with having brain tumours removed after experiencing “severe and debilitating headaches” for weeks per Us Weekly.
The former RHOBH star shared via social media: “After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumours on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months. Two of the tumours will be surgically removed today. The remaining smaller tumours will be dealt with via radiation at a later date…”
By the looks of IG, Teddi’s close friends Kyle and Morgan have been by her side as she endures another health battle.
Teddi takes to the ‘gram to thank everyone who has supported her and writes: “I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health…”
