Khloe Kardashian was not pleased to witness Babyface’s interview with Grammys reporters being interrupted. When a reporter spotted Chappell Roan, she completely shunned poor Babyface.
Babyface, who is a 12-time Grammys winner, was literally halfway through speaking to a reporter, when they spotted singer Chappell Roan and decided they’d much prefer to interview her. Awkward!
What happened to Babyface at the Grammys?
Babyface was talking to a reporter when they suddenly saw Chappell Roan and snubbed him. He was halfway through answering one of their questions, when he was cut off by the first reporter, Krysta Fauria.
The video has since gone viral online, which shows Krysta shouting “Chappell!” to try and get her attention. She said her name one more time while her colleague Leslie Ambriz looked on.
“You guys want to do that? Go do that,” Babyface could be seen telling the reporters when he noticed the singer behind him. Leslie was really embarrassed and told him, “So sorry, Babyface, I’m so sorry.”
Khloe Kardashian is really mad at the reporters
Khloe Kardashian has chimed in and slammed reporters for shunning Babyface. She’s taken to X to write a statement after witnessing the “wrong” treatment in the video, and is “disgusted” – like a lot of viewers.
She wrote: “With decades of ground-breaking work as a songwriter, producer, and performer, he’s shaped the sound of multiple generations. I love you @babyface And I am a forever fan.”
“I am thankful for all that you have blessed us with. By the way- what a class act you are. Big or small, old or new, – you don’t treat people like this. At least not in my eyes. There’s a way to handle this,” she added.
