Grant Ellis has just started his journey as The Bachelor’s lead! It’s exciting times for him as over 20 women line up hoping to win him over, but by the second episode, he’d already kissed five of them.
The Bachelor is back with a brand new lead: Grant Ellis. He was a contestant on Jenn Tran’s season, who he admittedly fell in love with before he was sent home, but what other red flags does he have?!
Grant was IN LOVE with Jenn Tran
Grant was obsessed with The Bachelorette lead, Jenn Tran, but was sent home before hometowns. He sort of redeemed himself later though, by showing support for her ex, which was super confusing.
He’s even hinted he’s open at having Jenn on his new season, which made people think he’s still in love with her. Grant made it to fifth place, but she basically just wasn’t that into him.
It could be argued that Grant being so into Jenn is a green flag, but it certainly proves he falls in love easily. He said, “It just sucks knowing you feel some way about somebody, and they don’t feel the same.”
He kissed five girls in one night
Grant kissed seven girls in the first night of The Bachelor and had only just met them. He is now torn between two women, and basically doesn’t seem very good at making decisions.
Two of the women he locked lips with were Allyshia and Juliana, as well as several others. Podcast host Natalie Joy said on The Viall Files, “I don’t know if I’ve seen the Bachelor make out with this many people.”
That means Grant kissed a third of the 25 women in a night, but he needed to test the waters. He sent home Allyshia Gupta, who he kissed, as well as Ella Del Rosario, Rebekah Garrett, and Vicky Nyamuswa.
The Bachelor star is a DAY trader
After his professional basketball career ended, Ellis started working as a day trader. “S&P 500… that’s the only instrument I trade,” his ABC bio reads, which makes us think he’ll be too busy for a woman.
He’s been day-trading since his season on The Bachelorette and is a fan of the L.A. Lakers and bowling when he’s not busy staring at the stock market, in Houston, Texas.
Grant gets the messiest Bachelor award
Although Grant is quite the ladies man, we’ve got to give him some credit. He sees himself married with kids in five years, so if all goes well on The Bachelor, he plans to have a secure future with.
However, he’s already broken history for kissing the most amount of women in a night. Another sign is he mistook the infamous Linda the Llama for a donkey. Umm, Grant, do you not know your animals?!
He also said a woman who lets the dishes pile up is a red flag, but added in an Extra TV interview that they’ve “got to clean the kitchen because they don’t want any roaches.”
